Elsie Iwegbu, PMHNP
Elsie Iwegbu is a dedicated Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and brings a strong clinical background in both psychiatric and acute care nursing, allowing her to approach mental health treatment with a comprehensive and holistic perspective.
Elsie earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and is licensed in the state of California as both a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical training and professional experience have equipped her with the skills to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions while prioritizing compassionate and individualized care.
Through her practice, Starlight Mental Health Solutions, Elsie provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and personalized treatment planning tailored to the unique needs of each patient. She believes that effective mental health care is built on trust, open communication, and collaboration. Her goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey.
Elsie has a special interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, and other psychiatric concerns. She integrates clinical expertise with empathy, cultural awareness, and evidence-based treatment approaches to help patients achieve long-term emotional wellness and improved quality of life.
Fluent in English and Yoruba, Elsie is passionate about serving diverse communities and strives to ensure that every patient receives care that is respectful, culturally sensitive, and accessible.
